About Me

Hi, I'm Kayla. I'm a senior studying Communications and English Literature at Mount St. Mary's University. Writing is my passion -- whether it's a catchy slogan, a heartfelt poem or a well-researched essay.

My goal is for a career in marketing or PR, where I can put my love for words to good use. However, I also enjoy writing creative pieces and tackling complex topics in my essays too. You'll find a mix of my work here -- from marketing materials to poetry and academic writing.

In my free time, I'm busy being a mom to Liam, Emmy and little Christian. They keep me on my toes, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm all about finding that balance between family life and chasing my dreams.

History and literature are my other big interests. I'm hoping to find a job where I can blend all these passions -- writing, marketing, and my love for stories and the past. For me, the perfect career is one where I can use my skills and do what I love every day.
